Item Description

A major Michigan copper specimen, with HUGE crystals to 3 inches showing complex, 3-dimensional, robust form. The piece is hefty at 586 grams, and is a floater complete all around. This specimen was an exchange from a major museum collection, where it has been since being donated in 1963 (and accessed only 30-odd years later). If you know and love coppers, the photos say it all...this is a significant, unusual specimen. The natural caramel-colored patina is very nice and bright, untouched by acids or harsh cleaning agents.
