Item Description
A most impressive, large, and aesthetic cabinet piece composed of flattened, crystallized Copper from the well-known Itauz Mine. On its own, the dendritic pattern offers plenty of drama, but the Copper is richly coated with micro crystals of Cuprite, which bring a significant amout of sparkle to the piece, let alone mineral interest. Mining has moved on from this open pit, so outstanding Coppers such as this are hard to come by. Formerly in the R.E. Ormston collection. This really should have a $1000 value for size and sparkle.
