Item Description

An amazingly sculptural copper with cuprite specimen from the famous Ray Mine. This cutie looks like a kneeling camel or Stegosauras dinosaur with an upturned neck and head. The spinel-twinned neck and head are 3.2 cm. Very sharp spinel-twins and tetrahexahedral copper crystals with a sparkly, cuprite, overcoated patina comprise this very nifty piece. This super piece comes from a recently uncovered stash from the well-known copper mine, as the specimens were collected in 1959!
