Item Description
A very rarely seen matrix specimen of Native Copper from Jerome (labeled as coming from the Little Daisy Mine) featuring a beautiful, bright, metallic, thin crystallized "plate" associated with sky blue colored Chrysocolla on host rock matrix. The Copper group measures 6.1 cm, and upon viewing under magnification, one can see flatted dodecahedral and octahedral crystals which have formed a gorgeous, almost organic looking dendritic group. A wonderful small cabinet display specimen, and a must have for any fan of Coppers or Arizona minerals. Valued at $900. From the collection of Gary Weaver of Prescott, Arizona (1944-2019). Gary was an electrical engineer who worked for many years for Hughes Aircraft in California. You can read Gary's obituary here https://www.dcourier.com/news/2019/apr/27/obituary-gary-richard-weaver/
