Item Description

Excellent native copper specimens are not that common from this very well-known locale. This 3-dimensional, sculptural, floater specimen is composed of intergrown, subhedral, tetrahexahedral crystals. The front has a striking unusual arch and the back has a bright cuprite coating. Embedded green copper oxides add color. The impressive form is coral-like. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and according to the label, was formerly in the Fersman Museum Collection.
