Item Description
Sharp, lustrous, tetrahexahedral copper crystals, to 1.7 cm, with a beautiful patina are aesthetically perched atop massive copper matrix on this showy and excellent old-timer from Copper Country. The contrasting analcime is a fine accent. Comes with an old Berlin University label with a 1913 date. Locality information furnished by Stan Dyl, former Seaman Museum curator (who can place it to the specific lode, and then guess at which mines within the lode produced such pieces - Quincy and Franklin). Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued $2000
