Item Description
A bouquet-like cluster of arborescent, spinel-twinned Copper crystals from the famous Bergmannstrost Mine in the Bad Ems District, which closed in 1922! Never seen one for sale here in the USA, and it is beautiful as well. The blue-green, copper oxide coating gives this excellent, delicate Copper a beautiful tint, enhancing the attractive aesthetic even more. Classic, old-time material, Coppers from Bad Ems are rare in specimen form. These pieces are part of a century-old Italian collection that was recently acquired. This comes in a small custom black cardboard box, with the label written on the bottom.
