Item Description

A classic example of these iconic and showy Copper specimens dating back to the mid 2000s from the famed Chino Mine. This is a wonderful "floater" group featuring superbly well-formed and dramatic "Spinel"-twinned Copper crystals flaring out of all sides of the piece. The twins are very fun to view up close with beautiful skeletal form and multiple "flanges" bursting out from the central spire. No damage anywhere that I can see. These are much harder to find on the market now, and they will go down as some of the most significant "Spinel" twins of Copper from any world locality. Specimen weight is 11.67 grams
