Item Description

Here we have a hefty cabinet display specimen of Copper from the famous Ray Mine in Arizona featuring a plethora of crystals ranging from fine sharp octahedral, tetrahexahedral and cubic crystals to beautiful "Spinel"-twinned crystals on the edges. The beautiful "hoppered" natured of the twins, along with the excellent sharpness and luster make them incredibly attractive, and they are even more fun to view under magnification. The piece is crystallized all over, and every little nook presents a new opportunity to view some beautiful crystallization. Very showy and worthwhile for anybody who collects native elements, Arizona minerals or even twins. From the collection of Lee Petersen, of Creede, Colorado. Specimen weight is 372.8 grams.
