Item Description
A very rarely seen specimen of crystallized Copper from the Jerome Mine which lies about 25 NNW of Socorro, New Mexico. This specimen was purchased by Dave Stoudt from the New Mexico Tech Bureau of Geology Museum in 2015 and is the ONLY piece of Copper I can remember having to offer in the auctions. The piece is best appreciated under magnification, and we used a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality of the beautiful little Copper crystals (not massive or crystalline, but actual crystals) which measure to about 3 mm across. If you're a fan of native elements or minerals of New Mexico, this is a great opportunity to pick up something that is virtually unseen in today's market.
