Item Description

A sculptural copper and quartz specimen from Copper Country. You can see how the molten copper flowed around and was shaped by the quartz, forming interesting molds on all sides. The large mold, with the flat face of a quartz crystal, is especially noteworthy. Old-time and excellent material from the Dartmouth College Collection. The numbers match. The label says calcite, but this is quartz, as a knife will not scratch it.
