Item Description
A great Copper and Cuprite thumbnail specimen from this sulfide deposit in Russia about 35 km from Kazakhstan border. A sharp, well-formed, octahedral crystal of Cuprite has been replaced / pseudomorphed by dozens if not hundreds of very well-formed, sharp brilliant Copper crystals. The close up photos really show the beauty of these Copper crystals! It's rare to find Copper replacing Cuprite instead of the other way around. These are going up in value it seems, as no more are coming out.
