Item Description
A classic and eye-catching specimen of the famous pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite from Corocoro. This piece has the classic pseudo-hexagonal form (it's actually a cyclic twin) that has made these pieces some of the most well known and highly sought after pseudomorphs around. This is the only place in the world where Copper pseudomorphs after Aragonite to the best of my knowledge. Due to the oxidation of the exterior, the piece has a light coating reddish Cuprite on every side of the piece with minor spots of blue Connellite. There has not been any significant amount of these specimens on the market in many years, and they are often found only in old collections.
