Copper pseudomorph after Aragonite (large specimen!)

Here is a wonderful small miniature size specimen of the famous pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite from Corocoro. These floater specimens are well known from Bolivia for their great form and color. This piece has the classic and unique form that has made these pieces some of the most well known and highly sought after pseudomorphs around, but the most impressive aspect of the specimen is the size! Specimens of this size are rarely seen from this locality. Typically, when the specimens reach such a large szie, they tend to be rather distorted and rounded, and this piece has such sharp and well defined faces. Lastly, the piece has the highly desirable "disco ball" form, which is only seen in a small percentage of the pseudomorphs from Corocoro. Take my word for it, this specimen is a fine example of this material. There has not been any significant amount of these specimens on the market in approximately 25 years, and they are often only found in old collections. Valued at $500 retail.
