A classic and eye-catching specimen of the famous pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite from Corocoro. This piece has the classic and unique "disco ball"-esque form that has made these pieces some of the most well known and highly sought after pseudomorphs around. It's a complete "floater" with no damage or point of attachment anywhere. This is the only place in the world where Copper pseudomorphs after Aragonite to the best of my knowledge. There has not been any significant amount of these specimens on the market in many years, and they are often only found in old collections. Additionally, this locality was purchased by a Korean mining company, and all of these pseudomorphs are being mined and melted down for their copper content, so we may never see these unique pseudomorphs again.
