A spectacular, incredibly sculptural, large crystallized copper specimen from the famous Kearsarge Mine. It looks just like a mythical Phoenix bird with head and beak, both wings and long legs. The very sharp, elongated crystal "beak" is striking. Much of the piece has a fine, bright patina and some embedded matrix is noted.
