Item Description
Sharp copper crystals with a nice patina richly cover the matrix of bubbly, botryoidal, gray smithsonite on this showy and excellent combination specimenf from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The aesthetic dendritic copper crystal clusters are formed by spinel-twins and tetrahexahedrons. The large spinel-twin is 6 mm. Copper with smithsonite is an uncommon association from Tsumeb and this is a good one.
