Stunningly sharp, textbook cuprite octahedrons have a very nifty overcoating of copper on this amazing thumbnail from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. The cuprite octos are aesthetically set on an arborescent matrix of smaller cuprites with a bit of copper. The trivial bit of bruising reveals the lustrous cuprite beneath the copper coating. This is a rare and outstanding association piece from this renowned locale.
