Item Description
A dramatic and very rich copper ore specimen from the famous mines at Bisbee. Striking knobby growths of crudely crystallized copper, with a nice patina, cover the vuggy surface. The mounded matrix is massive, deep wine-red cuprite. Copper crystals on cuprite are uncommon from Bisbee, as you usually see cuprite on copper. Massive ore at 1437 grams or 3.2 pounds.
