Item Description
An aesthetic, very sculptural, floater copper crystal cluster from the famed Ajo Mine. First off, the copper has a gorgeous rich patina, which even includes some pretty iridescence. The sharp, large, tetrahexahedral crystal is doubly terminated, which is uncommon for the locale. The two projecting "antenna" of elongated crystals are, indeed, striking. Classic, older material from this noted mine, that closed in 1972. Eminently displayable from several views, as you can see. This is very hefty, massive, robust copper crystal from the location and thus, to me, has a high valuation as it compares favorably with Michigan material despite being from this less productive fine specimen locale. Valued $750-900
