These were found in the late 1800s and early 1900s and are among the most unique of all USA origin classic mineral combos! Classic and highly desirable old-time small cabinet copper included in calcite with copper from Michigan's historic Copper Country. An impressive, 360-degree, glassy, lustrous, translucent, compound calcite crystal with multiple terminations is richly included with bright copper below the terminations. Remarkably, sharp, hackly clusters of copper are dramatically embedded in the front of the piece. The embedded copper and the copper at the base of the specimen are enhanced with green Malachite, blue Chrysocolla and the copper at the base on the back has patches of tiny, gemmy, olive-green Epidote crystals and crystal sections. A very showy, complete all-around and essentially pristine copper in calcite with embedded copper and fine accessories from the famous locale. It displays well without aid. Valued at $2500 and worth it.
