Michigan copper in calcites specimens are certainly one of the most desirable calcite varietals worldwide. This is an excellent and classic toenail specimen. A complete all-around and pristine, glassy scalenohedron is filled with bright copper crystals. Copper crystals protrude out of the crystal and the crystals rests on a matric of copper, quartz and epidote. The back is contacted, but has no damage, per se. Very highly representative of the size, species and historic locale. Ex Jaime Bird Collection. Valued at $600-800 and well worth it.
