Item Description

Michigan copper in calcite specimen are always highly desirable. This gemmy, glassy, complex rhomb is very richly included with bright copper microcrystals. Complete all-around and essentialy pristine. The contact on the back left has no damage, per se and the trivial contacting on the top of the crystal has no damage, either. This is very fine, old-time, example of the sought-after species and famous locale. Certainly around 100 years old and probably from the Quincy Mine. Ex Bill Sanborn Collection, a prominent California collector in the 1960s and 70s. Valued at $300-400. MUCH,MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
