Item Description

From the new discovery in 2022, here we have a beautiful "Pear Cabochon" cut gem featuring veins of Native Copper in beautiful Blue Opal. The Opal gets its color from Copper content, and this area seems to be rich with it, as we've seen attractive Chrysocolla gems coming out as well. It's rare to find a native element inside of Opal in nature like this, especially with such beautiful color. These are unique, I've never seen anything like them before, and they're durable enough to be worn in jewelry, so this isn't just a collector's stone, it would also look great in a pendant.
