A sharp copper specimen from the old copper country district of upper Michigan, featuring at least three different styles of copper crystallization on one specimen. Sharp crystals to 1 cm and larger are all over the top display face here, elegantly presented on a pedestal of massive copper and quartz. The patina and color, are both perfectly preserved here. It has not been cleaned with acid to remove the natural variegated patina, as most of us would prefer - a near miracle given that it certainly is 70-150 years out of the mines. It looks good vertically as mounted, but also sitting flat/horizontal, where you can see that the side crystals are actually larger even than the frontal crystals and reach to 2.5 cm in size.
