Item Description

Tsumeb doesn't get enough credit for its crystallized Copper specimens. Granted, there are hundreds of species found at this prolific locality, but the Coppers tend to get lost in the shuffle. This miniature specimen is a gorgeous, branching/arborescent group comprising dozens of sharp, well-formed, attractive crystals, creating a complete "floater" specimen, with a wonderful reddish patina on the surface. The crystals are distinct and euhedral, and look great with magnification. A showy display specimen of these under-appreciated Coppers from Tsumeb. The piece comes with a free custom acrylic display base.
From the collection of Alex Neufeld (#AN0319).
