Item Description

The best pieces of Copper from Michigan are world-famous for being the finest crystallized examples of the species extant. Here we have an excellent small cabinet sized display specimen featuring sharp, lustrous, very well-formed, modified crystals of Copper with a wonderful antique patina on the surface. The piece has an elegant arborescent branching form, and is crystallized all over. I really love the smooth robust crystal faces that can be seen on both sides. Very attractive for this classic material from Michigan. Valued at $2,000 retail in our inventory. From the collection of Brian Kosnar, with an old label from Minerals Unlimited that says it's from the collection of W. F. Davidson.
