Item Description

This is an alluring and fine quality example of these famous specimens that came from the famous find in 2006. These distinctive and certainly exemplary "Spinel-twinned" Copper crystals came from a one-time find, and will go down as some of the best examples ever seen from any locality in the western United States. All of the pieces originated from a single large boulder found by Stan Esbenshade, and carefully trimmed out. This piece is a gorgeous "floater" specimen filled with notably sharp and well-formed crystals, crystallized on all sides. I love the smaller layer of secondary crystallization like wings that flare along most of the central spinel twin. The running lines of the central twinned copper crystal provide several sharp flanges to give it added visual impact and size appeal. These are hard to find for sale today, especially in this quality.
