Item Description

A totally bizarre-looking native copper specimen from Copper Country. This striking CABINET specimen looks like a fossilized vertebrae or a very stylized animal with a head, legs, tail and a hole in its body! The oval hole probably held an oval cobble, that has been dissolved away. The copper is platy and much of the piece is cuprite-coated.
