Item Description
A wonderfully crystallized display specimen featuring a pronounced, very sharp, well-foremd, elongated, pseudo-hexagonal prismatic crystal of Native Copper dramatically flaring out of the additionally crystallized Copper matrix. This is certainly not the norm for Santa Rita, and really draws one's attention with the unique crystal form and excellent aesthetics. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#11406). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017). Valued at $1500.
