Copper coated w/ Cuprite

Item Description

A sculptural large two-sided copper specimen from the well-known 2000s finds at the Itauz Mine. The dentritic piece is composed of both spinel-twins and tetrahexahedral crystals, that are enhanced by the variable cuprite coatings. The sides of this 3-dimensional piece are distinctively different and the three spinel-twinned appendages on one side add pizzazz. Excellent, highly represesentative material from this famous copper mine.
