Item Description

A sculptural, free-form, large, crystallized copper specimen from this noted locale. Two large, sharp, tetrahexahedrons (to 3.0 cm) and a large spinel-twin (4.6 cm) dominate the ends of this biomorphic-looking piece with a rich patina. Green copper oxides, quartz and soft and hard unknown minerals add color and character to this shapely large old-timer from the Bob Trimingham Collection. Formerly in the Jim Smith Collection of Brandon, Mississippi, according to Bob's label. Valued at $300-500.
