A very sculptural, large, flattened crystallized copper specimen from the famous Copper Country. This striking, two-sided piece has a distinct biomorphic look. It looks like a serpent or dragon with a plume on its head! Embedded quartz and a preferential malachite coating give the platy, hackly copper color and accentuate the form. An excellent old-time floater specimen with dramatic shape from the Dartmouth College Collection.
