Item Description
Sharply crystallized, elongated, tetrahexahedral copper crystals with an excellent patina form a very showy arborescent specimen from the famous Phoenix Mine of Michigan. This cutie is complete all-around and pristine floater. Every turn presents a different perspective to this fine piece. Portions of the piece have a unusual secondary overgrowth of microcrystalline copper. The Phoenix Mine was mainly a fissure mine, but it also worked the nearby Ashbed Amygdaloid. Classic Copper Country material from the Howard Belsky Collection. Valued $400
