Copper and Cuprite (aesthetic)

A great Copper and Cuprite miniature specimen from this sulfide deposit in Russia about 35 km from Kazakhstan border. Such beautiful DIVERSE crystallization on the part of the Copper in the form of sharp individual crystals, groups and even "wire"-esque protrusions which give the piece not only great aesthetics, but wonderful three-dimensional appeal. The association of modified reddish-black Cuprite near the base makes for a great touch. VERY little damage, and the some of the Cuprite even shows good color along the edges when backlit! These are going up in value it seems, as this one came to us priced at $1000.
