Item Description

A sculptural and classic example of the famous old Ray Mine Coppers featuring an almost arborescent, twisting, "sheet" free of matrix. I love the form of the piece with several openings, almost like a coral species, but with defined geometric indentations from what was either preexisting Calcite or host rock. A classic patina graces all surfaces of the specimen, giving it that wonderful historic appearance that one looks for in a fine Copper.
