Item Description

This mine is obviously best known for its amazing crystallized Copper specimens, and this piece is wonderful example of said material. This piece is an excellent sculptural piece of Copper with wonderful aesthetics from the famous Copper Country of Michigan. The habit of most crystals is predominantly dodecahedral, but there are some "spear"-shaped crystals along with some highly modified faces that I can't identify. Addtionally, the piece has a narrow "tail" flaring off the bottom giving the piece tremendous character along with an almost organic appearance. Good size, quality and form make this a desirable cabinet sized display specimen from this classic locale. Valued at $1500.
