Item Description
Michigan is best known for its amazing crystallized Copper specimens. Here is a fine example of a well-crystallized Copper specimen from one of the most historic and classic mining districts in the United States. This piece features a predominant, sharp dodecahedron at the top which gaves way to more subtle and slightly cavernous Copper at the base. Minor associated Calcite and host rock can be seen as well. The main dodecahedron measures 1.3 cm across and look beautiful up close. Copper is known from thousands of localities around the world, but good solid crystals are not terribly common.
