Item Description
Most people are familiar with the Copper pseudomorphs after Aragonite from this locality, but to find non-pseudomorphic native Copper is rather rare. This arborescent "sheet" of partially crystallized Copper is a great display from this historic locality. It has a slight patina in areas with a few minor Copper crystals. These pieces started to trickle out around October of 2007, and this piece is one of the better samples of this material that I have offered in the auctions. It should be noted that this locality was recently purchased by a Korean mining company strictly for the Copper, and very little specimens are available on the market now, so don't miss out on this one, as they might become rather hard to find in the future.
