Item Description

Native copper from Tsumeb is quite rare and this is an exquisite miniature of high quality from any mine, all the more rare from tsumeb. Virtually the entire piece is composed of orange-red, arborescent growths of stacked, modified cubic crystals that show pervasive, low-profile stepped growth on all of the faces! The piece is well crystallized with individual crystals ranging in size from 2 to 5 mm on edge. It is an impressive and very aesthetic Copper specimen, complete 360-degrees all around and exquisitely crystallized for a Tsumeb copper! Despite all the copper in the minerals here, for whatever reason the environment of formation was simply not good for native coppers.
