Item Description
Rich green crusts of tiny conichalcite botryoids dramatically and colorfully cover much the large, layered sculptural matrix on this impressive specimen from the well-known and extinct Gold Hill Mine. The mine is famous for an assemblage of secondary minerals of copper and other metals. The back hosts turquoise-blue chrysocolla and more conichalcite, as a bonus. A colorful, attractive, rich, large and showy example from a historic locality that ceased production in 1945.
