Lustrous, bubbly, botryoidal aggregates of grass-green conichalcite fully line the vug and adjacent walls of the sturdy, sculptural, elongate gossan matri on this striking and colorful large specimen from Mina Ojuela. Scattered, tiny, colorless, gem calcite rhombs are a nifty accent. This fine piece probably dates to the major 1975 find at this historic locale. Classic Ojuela conichalcite.
