Conichalcite on and including Calcite (Consie Prince Coll.)

Rich, grass-green conichalcite beautifully coats and is included in sharp, colorless, calcite rhombs that cover the vuggy, sculptural gossan matrix on this very striking and colorful specimen from the famous Mina Ojuela. The conichalcite covered vug is in super shape. Periphery wear is noted, but is a modest detraction. This fine piece probably dates to the 1970s finds at this historic locale.
