Item Description

A superb and aesthetic, two-sided, combination specimen from the famous base metal mines at Madan. One side of the quartz crystal crust is strikingly and beautifully covered with: lustrous, strongly hoppered, galena crystals to 1.2 cm; mirror-bright, well-striated, interpenetrating, brass-yellow, pyrite cubes; and splendent, jet-black, sphalerite crystals. The other side is all quartz needles. The fabulous "A" side is pristine. A classic, beautiful and outstanding sulfide specimen from this noted locale.
