Item Description

It is rare to find well-developed crystals of Colusite from the famous mines at Butte, for which the East Colusa Mine is the Type Locality. This excellent specimen features reasonably well-formed silvery bronze colored modified octahedron / dodecahedron and RARELY seen {210} hextetrahedral faces! Colusite crystals to a few mm richly scattered among small Quartz crystals. Colusite is a rare copper, vanadium, arsenic, tin, antimony, sulfosalt and specimens like this are few and far between on the market.
