Item Description
Lustrous gray-brown Columbite-Tantalite has pseudomorphed a striking sharp, well-placed 1.4 cm Fluornatromicrolite octahedron on the elongated feldspar-quartz matrix. Another partial pseudo lies nearby. Fluornatromicrolite is a rare Na-Bi-Ta oxide, a member of the Pyrochlore Supergroup. This is super RARE pseudomorph material from the famous Pech pegmatite field! Rare, perhaps UNIQUE pseudo material from Pech. There is only one Fluornatromicrolite photo in the locality Photo Gallery and NO pseudos. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Value of such a rare pseudo??
