A rare and excellent combination from a small find many years ago. A 1.0 cm, lustrous, tabular, jet-black, columbite-(Fe), glassy, orange-red spessartines and smaller columbites are aesthetically nestled in the highly sculptural, blocky matrix of sharp, pearlescent albite crystals. Rare and choice combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this fine piece at $600, more than five years ago.
