Item Description
A rare specimen of Columbite-(Fe)–Columbite-(Mn) from the Fano Mine (Fano-Simmons Mine) featuring a fine quality, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, jet black colored crystal on white Albite matrix. The Columbite crystal measures 1.7 cm long. The few pieces I've seen from this locality are often damaged, but this piece is in excellent condition by comparison. These specimens haven't been available for decades, and you can only get them from old collections.
