Columbite

Item Description

A very fine, well-crystallized, blocky columbite crystal from a classic Minas Gerais locale. The complete all-around, sharply terminated crystal has high metallic luster and two well-striated sides. Contacting, with very little actual damage and one dinged corner are noted. This remains an excellent and highly representative example of the species and locale. Very uncommon older material from an East Coast collection, as it comes with a Hugh Ford label dating from 1946-57.
