Tourmalines are some of the most diverse and popular gems out there. Despite the myriad of colors that is seen in Tourmaline, some of the rarest gems are the colorless "Achroite" stones. This "Brilliant Oval" cut stone comes from Brazil and dates back over 30 years ago. It's a great representation of this hard to find material. This stone has some very very slight inclusions, but it's more than forgivable because Tourmaline is classified as a "Type 3" gemstone, as inclusions are almost always present, and accepted by dealers and collectors, so this stone is certainly better than most on the market.
